Virginia Code Annotated § 43-4.01 mandates that when a building permit for a residential project gives the name of a Mechanic's Lien Agent, a Notice To Mecahnic's Lien Agent must be sent by Certified Mail or personal delivery to the Agent within either thirty (30) days after first furnishing construction related equipment, labor, materials or services OR thirty (30) days after a building permit is issued. |
