RHODE ISLAND General Laws §34-28-4 mandates that a
notarized Notice Of Intent To Do Work Or Provide Materials, Or Both, must
be sent by registered mail or personal service to the Owner or the owner's
agent no later than 120 days upon completion of your furnishing labor
or materials for a project. A copy of the Notice of Intention shall be
filed in the land evidence records in the city or town where the project
is located.
