TRADITION
SOFTWARE, INC. was founded in 2005 by its Founder
and President, Craig Altman. TRADITION SOFTWARE offers the industry standard software solution, PreLien2Lien, to contractors and subcontractors in the US construction industry for lien management. TraditionInk.com
was formed in 2005 as a new Division, offering businesses and consumers
name brand and compatible replacement ink supplies at 10%
- 60% less than traditional office supply retailers.
TRADITION
SOFTWARE's headquarters is in Roseville,
CA, just north of the state capital in Sacramento. The company's mission is to offer superior products with friendly, knowledgeable technical support. We don't do this because it is easy. Our employees do it because it benefits our customers.

Craig R. Altman - Founder/President - In 2005 Craig
founded TRADITION SOFTWARE, INC. and TraditionInk.com, a Division of TRADITION
SOFTWARE, INC., and serves as its President. His professional
experience includes twenty-one years of senior level sales, marketing, teaching and technical support
experience.
Companies he has previously worked for include REED BUSINESS INFORMATION, FAWCETTE TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS, DEVRY UNIVERSITY and PASE SOFTWARE. |
Craig has earned B. A. degrees in Political Science from ILLINOIS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY in 1986 and Marketing from NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE in 1992. He has also done further college coursework in Computer Science at SIERRA COLLEGE and Real Estate at FOLSOM LAKE COLLEGE. Craig
has also earned IT industry certifications from MICROSOFT, CISCO SYSTEMS,
NOVELL, DELL and COMPTIA. He has previously served for eight years in both the Illinois and
California Army National Guards. Craig currently volunteers his time as
a Coach for ROSEVILLE AAU BASKETBALL, ROSEVILLE GIRLS SOFTBALL, ROSEVILLE YOUTH SOCCER CLUB and the WOODCREEK LITTLE LEAGUE. |

• Miriam Liskin - Software Development Manager - Miriam
joined TRADITION SOFTWARE in 2006. She manages software research and development
for the company, including the maintenance and enhancement
of the flagship product, PreLien2Lien. Miriam's professional background
includes twenty-five years in software development. She has authored fifteen database programming books on Access, dBASE and FoxPro. Miriam has also been a Contributing Editor for Personal Computing, Computer Currents and FoxPro Advisor magazines. She has also been a part-time Professor at MERRITT COLLEGE and the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA at Davis.
Miriam has earned a B.A. degree in Biochemistry from HARVARD UNIVERISTY in 1974. She also earned a Master of Arts in Biochemistry from the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA at Berkeley in 1978. |
• Bill Hayman - Product Manager, PreLien2Lien - Bill joined TRADITION SOFTWARE in April 2009. He is responsible for PreLien2Lien software product development and testing, and assists with customer service, sales and technical support. Bill’s professional background includes twenty-five (25) years in the areas of legal document preparation, sales and technical support.
Previously Bill was the Founder/President of CALIFORNIA LEGAL DOCUMENT ASSISTANTS, a successful legal document service company for both attorneys and the general public. Other companies he has worked for include HILL BROTHERS CHEMICAL COMPANY and POLYTECH INDUSTRIES.
Bill did undergraduate studies at both SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY and SANTA CLARA UNIVERSITY. He is a registered and bonded Notary Public for the State of California. |
• Michael J. Walsh - Online Sales Manager - Michael joined TRADITION SOFTWARE in 2008. He manages all online advertising for TRADITION SOFTWARE and TraditionInk.com products and services. Additionally, he is responsible for new product pricing and management for TraditionInk.com. Michael has over 20 year’s sales experience in the construction and equipment industry. He brings valuable experience managing personnel, materials and the budgeting process to successfully complete projects. |
| • Steve McCormick - CPA - Steve has been retained by TRADITION SOFTWARE in 2008 as the company's chief accountant. He is a 1996 graduate of California State, Chico, and a Principal at S.G. MCCORMICK & COMPANY. |

• Technical Support Manager - Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Handling inbound Level 1 Customer Service and Technical Support calls for all TRADITION SOFTWARE and TraditionInk.com products and services.
- Handling all website monitoring (Linux/WHM-Cpanel)
- Handling all internal IT support
- Data entry and updates into company database of all activity with current customers and sales prospects.
- Contact current software customers and update status reports.
- Daily reports for internet advertising campaigns.
- Software bug reports.
- Customer order tracking and notification
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Full-time position base salary is $35,000 - $43,000 DOE. Qualified candidates should have a college degree, and a minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience. |
• College Intern - Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting on inbound Level 1 Customer Service and Technical Support calls for all TRADITION SOFTWARE and TraditionInk.com products and services.
